The Tennessee Beta Unit of Parliamentarians will hold a meeting and educational program Monday at 6 p.m. at the Poplar-White Station Branch Library, 5094 Poplar Ave.

The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence will hold a workshop Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at its office, 5100 Poplar Ave., suite 502. The fair will offer information abut the U of M’s 24 doctoral degrees, 55 master’s degrees, 19 graduate certificates, the education specialist degree and the juris doctorate degree. Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital will host a stroke survivor group meeting Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Medical Office Building A of the hospital, 7655 Poplar Ave., suite 250. Opera Memphis will hold general auditions for the 2011-2012 season Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Clark Opera Memphis Center, 6745 Wolf River Parkway. Auditions are by appointment only, and those auditioning should come prepared to perform one foreign language aria and one operetta/musical theatre selection in English. Metamorphoses Inc. will hold a community event to draw attention to new programs designed to help troubled youth Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Ridgeway Assembly of God Church Family Life Center, 3150 Ridgeway Road.
