LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – The Little Rock-based department store chain Dillard's Inc. says a key revenue measure rose 3 percent in November, a period that included the start of the holiday shopping season.

The measure announced Thursday is of revenue at stores open longer than a year and is considered a key gauge of a company's health because it excludes the impact of recently opened or closed stores.

Dillard's said overall revenue for the four weeks ended Nov. 26 were $479.2 million. That's up 2 percent from the same month last year.

Dillard's has more than 300 stores in 29 states.
