A TennCare Continuing Legal Education Clinic will be held today from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave.

The Memphis Music Resource Center will celebrate its first birthday during the South Main Art Trolley Tour today from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 431 S. Main St. The free celebration will include live music, food and drinks.

The South Main Art Trolley Tour will be today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. along South Main Street. The South Main Association will be grilling food in the parking lot next to Bluff City Coffee. Food and beer are complimentary for members.

Memphis Park Services and the Tri-State Defender will host “2009 Summer Health Fair, A Family Day” Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Orange Mound Community Center, 2572 Park Ave. Special guests will include singer Ruby Wilson and author Dwight Fryer. The event will include free health screenings, food, games and performances.

BankTennessee will hold a community service seminar titled “Women in Transition” Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Halle Room of the Collierville Burch Library, 501 Poplar View Parkway.

The Chocolate Water Music Arts Festival will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Minglewood Hall, 1555 Madison Ave. The festival will include more than 30 musical acts, poets and vending and crafts artisans. The Germantown Athletic Club will host a Chill & Grill Open House and Cookout Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at the club, 1801 Exeter Road. The club will provide tours, membership specials and giveaways. For more information, call 757-7370.

Playhouse on the Square will present a performance of “RENT” to benefit Shelby Residential and Vocational Services Sunday at 3 p.m. at Playhouse on the Square, 51 Cooper St. A pre-show party will be held at 2 p.m. For tickets, call 726-4656. “RENT” will run through July 26.

The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence will present a workshop titled “Advocacy & Public Policy” Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Alliance office, 5100 Poplar Ave. Alliance for Justice will lead the workshop.
