The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence will host "Conducting Market Research and Focus Groups" today from 9 a.m. to noon at The Assisi Foundation of Memphis Inc., 515 Erin Drive. The cost to attend is $65 for Alliance members, $55 for participants in the Program for Nonprofit Excellence and $99 for nonmembers. The Memphis Regional Chamber will present its Leadership Luncheon Series today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. John Moses, CEO of ALSAC - the fundraising arm of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - will be the featured speaker. The Tennessee Department of Revenue will host its next free bimonthly business workshop Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon in the Memphis Training Room of the Renaissance Business Center, 555 Beale St. The workshop is designed to assist those encountering business-related taxes for the first time. The Association of Fundraising Professionals will host a luncheon Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Christian Brothers University.
