CN boosts Memphis’ role in North American rail network
After a 15-year transformation from a government operated east-west railroad network to a privately owned company with a North American reach, Canadian National Railway Co. is positioning itself as a logistics “enabler.”
Between July and September, the Memphis-based parent company of the largest bank based in Tennessee more than doubled its quarterly profit compared with the same period in 2010, the company announced Monday, Oct. 17.
