Dollar General Agrees to Stop Selling Sticky Traps

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Dollar General stores will stop stocking sticky glue traps in the coming months.
A news release from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says the group urged the Goodlettsville-based discount retailer to stop selling the traps, which it considers to be cruel.
Dollar General spokeswoman Tawn Miller confirmed the store will no longer sell the traps once its current stock is depleted. She said the company had no further comment on the decision.
