The Shelby County Commission will meet today at 1:30 p.m. at the Shelby County Administration Building, 160 N. Main St. One resolution on today’s agenda involves the receiving and filing of the oath of office for Regina Morrison-Newman, the interim Shelby County trustee. She was chosen by the commission a few weeks ago to finish the term of county Trustee Paul Mattila, who died last month at age 65 after a struggle with lung cancer.
