Local Haiti Telethon To be Held Today -

Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance, WMC-TV and four Citadel Media Group radio stations are hosting a “drive-time” Haiti Disaster Relief Telethon from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
The event will be held to help the American Red Cross meet its $60 million pledge to help victims of the earthquake. The event today follows a fundraiser held one a week ago at the WMC-TV offices that raised more than $91,000 for disaster relief efforts.
