Despite the ups and downs of the residential real estate market over the last three decades, one of the constants for the Memphis Area Association of Realtors is the support of the annual Youth Villages Inc. 5K.

15. Small Biz M Partners With Business Over Coffee -

A recently launched group called Business Over Coffee will partner with business-focused social community Small Biz M to expand on small-business networking opportunities for participants.

Founded by Sherri Henley, Business Over Coffee works with professionals who want to optimize their business through social media, educational exchange and networking events. SBM founder and small-business coach Robert Staub will merge more than 800 members from his group with Business Over Coffee’s membership of less than 200.

16. Fashion Academy Network to Hold Inaugural Meeting -

The Fashion Academy Network – a local startup group striving to bring those in the fashion, entertainment and media sectors together for the benefit of all – will host its inaugural meeting Nov. 7, at 5865 Ridgeway Center Parkway, suite 300, in the Seminar Room.

Another national burger chain is setting up shop locally, except this one selected Memphis as its entrance into the Tennessee market.

BGR The Burger Joint is the latest tenant to join Ridgeway Trace Center, the 347,358-square-foot development at Poplar Avenue and Interstate 240 anchored by Target, Best Buy, PetSmart and Sports Authority.
