WKNO will host March on Washington online chats Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the WKNO Digital Media Center, 7151 Cherry Farms Road. The event will include screenings of the PBS documentary “The March” as well as online chats and hosted discussions about the civil rights movement. The Shelby County Real Estate Road Show starts its second year Aug. 28 with an event that will provide information on the county’s tax sale and land bank.

The free event will be held at the Hickory Hill Community Center, 3910 Ridgeway Road. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the 90-minute program starting at 6 p.m.

4. Central Defense Security Collecting School Supplies -

Central Defense Security has teamed up with the Hickory Hill Community Center to help ensure that students at several local schools have the school supplies they need for the 2012-2013 school year.

5. Clinics Planned to Help Delinquent Taxpayers -

The first of four planned tax clinics to help delinquent Memphis taxpayers pay their city property tax bills will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31, at the Hickory Hill Community Center, 3910 Ridgeway Road.

6. Wharton to Host Virtual Town Hall Wed. -

Memphis Mayor A C Wharton Jr. will host a three-way virtual town hall meeting Wednesday that links City Hall to citizens in Cordova and Hickory Hill.

The 6 p.m. session will focus on the city’s budget and school funding. Wharton and his administration are working on a list of options for the Memphis City Council to consider to come up with $57 million in funding two courts have ordered the city to pay the Memphis City Schools system.

Christian Brothers University will present the second session of its Family Business Enrichment Series today from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Thomas Center of the Sabbatini Lounge. The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law will host a diversity outreach program for high school and college undergraduate students today at 8 a.m. in Room 136 of the Fogelman Executive Center. The all-day event will include a question-and-answer session with current law students, a panel discussion and a luncheon. There is no admission fee but registration is required. 9. Health Dept. to Offer Flu Shots at 3 Poll Sites -

The Memphis and Shelby County Health Department will offer free flu shots for adults at three polling places on Election Day, Tuesday.

The three polling places are Glenview Community Center at 1141 S. Barksdale St., Hickory Hill Community Center at 3910 Ridgeway Road and Raleigh Community Center at 3678 Powers Road.

The Juvenile Court Ad Hoc Committee holds a public hearing today from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hickory Hill Community Center, 3910 Ridgeway St. For more information, call 545-4301.

The Memphis chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) meets Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Parmasters Memphis, 888 S. White Station Road. Anita Black, CEO and founder of MO's Music and Art Café, is the guest speaker. She will discuss "Growing Your Business." Leslie Shankman Cohen also will discuss "Feng Shui for the Office."
