There is a construction application for Artspace Projects Inc.’s South Main Artspace Lofts, an adaptive reuse of the former United Warehouse at 138 St. Paul Ave. behind The Arcade Restaurant. The $12.5 million project will also include the new construction of a building over what is currently a parking lot with 44 live/work spaces, as well as more than 20,000 square feet of commercial space, which includes gallery space and an outdoor arts garden and performance plaza. Construction is planned to commence in October with an expected placed-in-service date in November 2014.
