The buyer filed a $13.4 million loan with Silverspeak Real Estate Finance LLC in conjunction with the purchase, according to a deed of trust filed the same day.

The sellers acquired the property for $22.1 million in 2011.

The Creekwood Village Apartments in Raleigh have been sold for $2.5 million.

Creekwood Village Apartments of Memphis LP sold the 96-unit apartment complex at 5101 Raleigh Lagrange Road to Creekwood Village Partners, according to a Dec. 16 special warranty deed.

76. Court Order Details Spread of Violent Gang -

Fourteen years ago, a group of eight teenagers who lived on Burnham Street in Frayser tried to join the Vice Lords street gang and were rejected.

They became the FAM Mob street gang.

And according to a petition filed in Shelby County Environmental Court this week by the Multi-Agency Gang Unit to secure the city’s two latest no-gang zones, the rejection fueled violence that gang unit officers say have been a large part of the gang since its founding.

The 320-unit Waterford Place Apartments in Southeast Shelby County has sold to an entity affiliated with Chicago-based Trilogy Real Estate Group for $28.3 million, or about $88,438 per unit.

TMF III Waterford Place Partnership purchased the complex in an Oct. 16 special warranty deed from WRF-Waterford Place LLC, an entity related to Boston-based real estate investment trust Winthrop Realty Trust. Winthrop bought the property in April 2012 for $21.5 million.

Transportation company Federal Express has announced its providing $250,000 to Mid-South Community College in West Memphis.

FedEx and college officials said Tuesday that the donation will be used to support an FAA-certified Aviation Maintenance Technology training program. The college plans to build a program-specific facility to increase the number of students it can train.
