Memphis Mayor A C Wharton Jr. and Memphis Medical Center partners will host Spring at the Park Thursday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Health Sciences Park, at the corner of Madison Avenue and Dunlap Street. The event will include arts performances, food trucks and vendors. Cost is free. Call 576-7185.

Kiwanis Club of Memphis will meet Wednesday, April 2, from noon to 1 p.m. at The University Club of Memphis, 1346 Central Ave. National Civil Rights Museum president Beverly Robertson will speak. Cost is $18 for nonmembers.

3. Briglia Joins Archer-Malmo as Web/Broadcast Artist -

Kristen Briglia has joined archer-malmo as web/broadcast turbo artist. In her new role, Briglia will produce web graphics, HTML and video-editing services for the growing digital and broadcast departments, and will also help on print projects as needed.

4. Youth Villages Names Rutschman Director of Communications -

Echelle Lane Rutschman has been named director of communications at Youth Villages. Rutschman joins Youth Villages after 10 years serving as senior communications officer and system director of corporate communications at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp.

5. Estate Planning Council Elects Officers -

The Memphis Estate Planning Council announced the following officers for 2005-2006: David B. Jones, president; Frank E. Davis, vice president; Jeffrey E. Thompson, secretary; James L. Ferguson Jr., treasurer; and Mike Wood, immediate past president. Other executive committee members are Kermit B. Kaiser, Leanne W. McCullough, Samuel N. Graham and Teresa R. Hurst.
