1. Stepherson Named Chair-Elect of Grocers Association -

Randy Stepherson has been named 2014-2015 chairman-elect of the Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association board of directors. Stepherson is president of Stepherson Inc., the family- and employee-owned parent company of Superlo Foods, which has five Memphis-area locations, and Stepherson’s.

2. Henneberger Joins First State Bank Small-Business Lending Division -

Sean Henneberger has joined First State Bank’s small-business lending division as vice president/business development officer in the Memphis market. Memphis City Council members heard from and saw a lot of opponents of plans to close five Memphis public libraries Tuesday, May 22, during an hour and a half of comments from the public.

“I was going to suggest instead of cutting libraries that you improve them,” said Kaye Veazey.
