ATLANTA (AP) - Pilot union leaders at Delta and Northwest have taken a break from joint meetings aimed at hammering out an agreement to integrate their seniority lists as part of a combination of the two carriers, two people familiar with the discussions said.

Ruby Bright has been recognized as a 2006 Woman of Character by the Girl Scout Council of the Mid-South. Bright, who is the executive director of the Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis, was recognized for her courage, confidence and leadership.
