Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis will host An Evening With Fred Davis Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the organization’s Technical Training Center, 903 Walker Ave. Davis served as the first black chairman of the Memphis City Council and opened one of the South’s first African-American-owned insurance agencies.
