1. Agape Celebrates Young ‘Pictures of Hope’ Artists -

Agape Child & Family Services celebrated 14 young photographers Tuesday, Dec. 3, unveiling the Pictures of Hope holiday cards based on the children’s missive to capture their dreams on camera. The celebration and unveiling were part of Agape’s second-annual Meet the Young Artist holiday party, held at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet in East Memphis.

Twelve of the parking spaces outside the visitors center at Shelby Farms Park come with a roof.

Construction of the solar-assisted electric and hybrid vehicle charging stations was completed in September.

Nationally recognized photojournalist and author Linda Solomon traveled to Memphis Tuesday, Sept. 18, to share her lifelong passion for photography and to encourage children from underprivileged backgrounds to follow their own hopes and dreams.

Details: Denver-based ProLogis has filed a permit application to rebuild the foundation of its warehouse at 5700 Challenge Drive. The building, in the Memphis Distribution Center near Raines and Hickory Hill roads, was damaged in the Feb. 5 storms that ripped through the industrial section of Southeast Memphis.

8. Hutton Files Loan For New Dealership -

Henry Hutton LLC has taken out a $5.8 million construction loan to build a new Chuck Hutton Toyota dealership at 1733 Metro Plex Loop in Whitehaven’s Southbrook Office Park. The company also filed a $936,000 trust deed on the property; both loans were made through Toyota Motor Credit Corp.

9. Henry Hutton LLC Closes On I-55/Shelby Drive Land -      Henry Hutton LLC has bought 35.3 acres in Southbrook Office Park from Southland Development Partners of Memphis for $1.9 million. The deal closed Thursday.

Officials with Schnuck Markets Inc. aren't ready to tip their hand on plans for the 1761 Union Ave. location, but they will continue to spruce up the 64-year-old building until they decide what to do next.
