1. Johnson Named Memphis Law School Registrar -

Jamie M. Johnson has joined the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law as law school registrar.

In her new role, Johnson will have direct oversight of the registrar’s office and duties relating to enrollment verification, managing student’s academic records, and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, maintenance and delivery of all law school institutional data. Johnson will also work closely with the dean of academic affairs to administer exams, determine class rank and report grades.

3. Wells Joins Evans Petree as Associate -

Julie Wells has joined Evans Petree PC as an associate in the East Memphis office, focusing her practice in health care law and general business matters. She previously worked at Baptist Medical Group, where she played an integral role in physician practice acquisitions and contractual-related matters.

4. Roland ReElected At Filing Deadline, Two Countywide Races Set For August -

One of the six Shelby County Commission incumbents seeking re-election this year was effectively elected to a new four-year term in a new district with the noon Thursday, Feb. 20, filing deadline for candidates in the May county primaries.

5. Masson Named Senior Director at Caissa -

Rick Masson has joined Caissa Public Strategy as senior director. Masson, former chief administrative office for the city of Memphis, was also recently named special master to oversee the city-county schools merger. (For details, see the Monday, March 11, edition of The Daily News.) In his new role at Caissa, Masson will provide consultation and leadership on business development and project management.

6. Haynes Joins Table Group as Principal Consultant -

Brad Haynes has joined The Table Group Inc. as principal consultant. Haynes will provide executive teams with customized consulting and training sessions built around teamwork, leadership and overall organizational health.

7. Haykal Recognized For Work in Psychiatry -

Dr. Radwan Faysal Haykal, director of the Bipolar Spectrum Program at Lakeside Behavioral Health System and clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, has been inducted as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

8. Nevels Takes Reins of BMHC Foundation -

Jenny Nevels has been promoted to executive director of the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation.

9. Colvett Named Greenscape President -

Frank Colvett Jr. has been promoted to president of GreenScape Inc.

Colvett previously was executive vice president and corporate treasurer. He has been at GreenScape since 1992 and has served in various capacities including project manager, estimator and vice president of marketing.

11. Wilson Named CBU Dean Of Graduate, Professional Studies -

Dr. Patrick Wilson has been named dean of the Graduate and Professional Studies program at Christian Brothers University.

Wilson will lead the marketing, recruitment and retention for evening undergraduate programs and graduate programs as well as have responsibility for the financial planning and administrative operations.
