Music legend Fred Sanders spent most of his days playing guitar in Memphis’ Handy Park.
As the house guitarist at the old Club Paradise, Sanders played alongside other Memphis music legends, including B.B. King, Bobby “Blue” Bland and Albert King. Sanders also played his music at Blues Alley on Front Street, leaving tourists in awe and was a particular favorite of traveling blues aficionados.
9. Blues Legend Bland Sues Man Who Claims to be His Son

Blues legend Bobby “Blue” Bland is suing a California man who claims to be his son, according to court papers the Memphis recording artist has filed.
Bland, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, wants the court to issue an order to stop Rodney Lopes of Sacramento from using his name to promote his musical career. Bland is also seeking $1 million in punitive damages.

My Harrison has been named the 2006 PRSA Communicator of the Year by the Memphis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She is a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in charge of the Memphis field office. Since her arrival in Memphis two years ago, she has supervised a number of high-profile federal investigations, including "Operation Tennessee Waltz," "Operation Tarnished Blue" and "Operation Main Street Sweeper."
