Dallas-based Greyhound Lines Inc. soon will move its depot to Memphis Area Transit Authority’s Airways Transit Center, 3033 Airways Blvd., near Memphis International Airport.

The Orpheum Theatre announced Jim Perrin has been named vice president of development. Perrin previously served as the president of Junior Achievement of Memphis & the Mid-South Inc. In his new position, he will oversee the Orpheum's fundraising efforts, special events and other projects.

4. St. Jude Researcher Earns National Recognition -

Scientific American named Dr. Robert G. Webster, the Rose Marie Thomas chair at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as a research leader in the 2005 Scientific American 50 - a list compiled by the magazine that recognizes outstanding acts of leadership in science and technology from the past year.
