Entertainment retailer Hastings Entertainment has operated a store in Cordova for the last four years.
But the location at 1245 Germantown Parkway, where the chain has operated in a 25,000-square-foot space since 2007, has long been unable to hit the company’s earnings target. That’s according to Hastings chief financial officer Dan Crow, who cited that and the fact “we just didn’t have sufficient volume” at the location as reason the company is closing it in early December.
