Hometown: Born in Des Plaines, Ill., a suburb of Chicago
Work Experience: One of my favorite work experiences was training police divers in underwater search and recovery with the National Academy of Police Diving. Why did you pursue a career in real estate? I believe that God never wastes life experiences on us. This field seemed like a blend of many of my life experiences.
What do you consider your greatest professional accomplishments? Earning my designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member was a proud moment although I feel that it is an equally great accomplishment anytime I am able to meet a need for one of my clients through a commercial real estate transaction.

WMC Cuts 15 Jobs -
Tuesday, December 09, 2008
NBC affiliate WMC-TV laid off about 10 percent of its employees Tuesday, general manager Lee Meredith told The Daily News. The station, which employs between 140-150 people, laid off 15 who worked in divisions across the spectrum of the station’s operation. Meredith said the layoffs included on-air personalities such as Bill Lunn, who was the station’s midday anchor, sports anchor/reporter Dave Cera and anchor Donna Davis.
Davis, along with Joe Birch, anchored the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts for the station.
“It’s no secret the broadcasting industry and our station – we’re not immune to the economic difficulties that exist across the country right now, including here in our own market in Memphis,” Meredith said. “Ad revenues are challenged at the moment. In order for our station to position itself for the challenges ahead, we have taken the difficult step of reducing some of our staff today.”
Meredith said no additional layoffs will be forthcoming in the foreseeable future.
