An office complex in Raleigh has traded hands after being under the same family ownership for more than 30 years.

Commercial Real Estate Network LLC, a local investor, has purchased the 40,756-square-foot Raleigh Center Office Complex at 2974 Austin Peay Highway from Charles R. Averwater Living Trust for $299,000.

6. Taco Bell/Long John Silver's Sells For $785,000 -

RGT Foods Inc. has bought a franchised fast-food restaurant at 826 S. Third St. from James Wesley Parker and Shona Ann Parker, trustees of the Parker Family Trust, for $785,000. The 3,007-square-foot restaurant, built in 1984, is a co-branded Long John Silver’s and Taco Bell, formerly just a Taco Bell. It sits on 0.7 acres at the northeast corner of South Third Street and East E.H. Crump Boulevard.

7. New Checkers Drive-Thru Opens on Getwell -

Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. this week opened a new Checkers drive-thru restaurant at 1341 Getwell Road, just north of Kimball Avenue near Getwell’s interchange with Interstate 240.

9. New Taco Bell To Rise in Frayser -

A new Taco Bell will be built at 3233 Thomas St. in Frayser now that an old Taco Bell restaurant there has been razed. The property’s owner, Taco Bell franchisee RGT Foods Inc., had the building demolished and then sold the 0.69-acre lot for $840,000 to Marchi & Associates Defined Benefits Pension Plan, Brett Marchi, trustee, of Solvang, Calif.
