A Mississippi community bank will soon become part of a new financial institution called Metropolitan BancGroup Inc., whose headquarters will be at 1661 Aaron Brenner Drive in East Memphis.
Metropolitan has acquired Crystal Springs, Miss.-based Bank of the South, which has filed a notice of application to form the Memphis branch of Metropolitan.
