The limited liability company took out that loan through First Union National Bank in February 2001.

The Preserve at Southwind was sold back to the lender Tuesday afternoon on the Shelby County Courthouse steps for $19.9 million.
After two planned foreclosure sales of the 306-unit apartment complex had been adjourned, Wells Fargo Bank NA – operating in the transaction as 7991 Capilano Drive Holdings LLC – reclaimed the property with no other bidders showing up for the auction.
