CEO pay has been going in one direction for the past three years: up.

The head of a typical large public company made $9.7 million in 2012, a 6.5 percent increase from a year earlier that was aided by a rising stock market, according to an analysis by The Associated Press using data from Equilar, an executive pay research firm.

WASHINGTON (AP) – The Justice Department filed a lawsuit Thursday to stop Anheuser-Busch InBev's proposed $20.1 billion purchase of Mexican brewer Grupo Modelo, which would unite the ownership of popular beers like Budweiser and Corona.

4. Diseno Malbec Good Wine for the Price -

If I wanted to be cynical – oh, the horror! – I could call the Diseno Old Vine Malbec 2009, from Argentina’s Mendoza region, an anonymous wine. Diseno means “design,” and this is certainly a “designed” wine intended to capitalize on the faddishness of the malbec grape in the U.S. Looking for the winery where the wine was made? On the back label, it’s called “winery No. B-72681.” Hmmm, I wonder if there’s a tasting room? How about jazz concerts on Friday nights?
