Who has had the greatest influence on you? The two people who have influenced me most are my mother and my first boss, Harish Vishria. Why did you pursue a career in financial services? As a child, I saw firsthand the difference asset management can make in not only one person’s life but that of a whole multigenerational family. When I was about 10 years old, two older family members passed away. I learned at that early age how difficult it can be to struggle with the emotional and financial challenges that can come with a loss in a family. I saw then how important it is to be prepared for life’s uncertainties so that one can make the right choices.

What do you most enjoy about your work? Each person’s financial situation is different. When I chose to major in business instead of art or literature, I thought I was giving up the chance to use my creativity.
