A recently launched group called Business Over Coffee will partner with business-focused social community Small Biz M to expand on small-business networking opportunities for participants.
Founded by Sherri Henley, Business Over Coffee works with professionals who want to optimize their business through social media, educational exchange and networking events. SBM founder and small-business coach Robert Staub will merge more than 800 members from his group with Business Over Coffee’s membership of less than 200.

The number of business licenses filed with the Shelby County Clerk’s Office decreased 24.3 percent from 1,527 in the first quarter of 2010 to 1,156 in the first quarter of 2011, according to The Daily News Online, www.memphisdailynews.com.
