1. Christmas Spirit -

Through Friday, Nov. 30, Memphians will be dropping off toys and cash donations at Bud Davis Cadillac in East Memphis for a special purpose.

It’s part of the 2012 WRVR Toy Truck, presented by BancorpSouth Inc., and it’s one of the largest events and fundraisers each year benefiting Porter-Leath, an organization that focuses on at-risk children and families.

2. Enjoy Crawfish And Help Kids -

Last week we wrapped up our four-part series on a Memphis narrative, featuring numerous heartfelt responses to the question: “What does Memphis mean to you?” Even though we are switching back to a nonprofit spotlight, continue to email us your thoughts and testimonials so we can weave them into our ongoing community efforts.
