1. Henneberger Joins First State Bank Small-Business Lending Division -

Sean Henneberger has joined First State Bank’s small-business lending division as vice president/business development officer in the Memphis market. In his new role, Henneberger will help small businesses pursue loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. Department of Agriculture Business and Industry Guaranteed Loan Program.

2. Towns Named to Southern College of Optometry Board -

Leticia “Tish” Towns, senior vice president of external relations for the Regional Medical Center at Memphis, has been named to the Southern College of Optometry board of trustees. Among her duties at The MED, Towns oversees the development of the hospital’s strategic plan and manages marketing and communications, community engagement, the Traumatic Brain Injury program, government relations and pastoral care.

3. Mona Spa & Laser to Host Holiday Open House -

Mona Spa & Laser Center is hosting a “Merry Mona Open House” Thursday, Nov. 17, through Saturday, Nov. 19.

The holiday merchandise party will include more than 10 participating vendors, such as Rebecca Rivalto Interiors and Gifts, Caffé Las Flores, Adele Cosmetics, Michael Manass Art, NVey Organic Makeup, kai Fragrance, Allergen, Merz and Ted Gibson.

4. DeBerry Named 2005 Legislator of the Year -

The Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police presented U.S. Rep. John DeBerry the Legislator of the Year award. DeBerry, who represents District 90 in Memphis, is chairman of the House Children and Family Affairs committee.
