NASHVILLE (AP) – The Tennessee Lottery launches a new game on Tuesday with the biggest top prize in the history of the state game.
"$3,000,000 Mega Cash" is an instant game played by scratching a ticket. Besides the $3 million top prize, there are 10 prizes from $1 million to $3 million and more than 500,000 prizes from $50 to $20,000. It costs $20 to play.

Tennessee officials are hedging their bets on Powerball to lift the lottery out of a slight sales slump that could hurt revenue projections for education.
Lottery CEO Rebecca Paul Hargrove said lottery sales have been running about $400,000 less per week than last year since the fiscal year began July 1.
