1. Cordova Building Sees Solid Leasing Activity

The commercial building at 584 N. Germantown Parkway in Cordova has recently seen strong leasing activity. Advanced Prosthetics and Orthotics LLC, which opened in 2004 and provides prosthetic limbs and orthotics to support or supplement weakened or abnormal joints or limbs, inked a lease to occupy the 4,000 square feet of space that once housed a Baptist Memorial Health Care minor medical center. Last year, the center signed a 5,050-square-foot lease at the former Blockbuster space in Trinity Commons, 670 N. Germantown.

Details: Mercedes Benz of Memphis will do a renovation of its location on Poplar Avenue just east of Estate Drive. Richard Meena, vice president of Montgomery Martin Contractors, said they will be adding a new showroom and a new car wash, as well as performing general site work improvements, including some additions to the parking lot.
3. Tenants in Common Buy G’Town Pkwy. Building

A 15,100-square-foot building off Germantown Parkway has been bought by tenants-in-common investors for $2.4 million.
Egan Family Partnership (50 percent interest), Germantown Parkway Partners LLC (40 percent), Charles Jacob (7 percent) and Paula Jacob (3 percent) bought the property from AmREIT. The deal closed July 10 and was financed with a $1.2 million loan through the seller.
