1. Dishcrawl Brings Supper Club to Memphis

Memphis is getting an underground “supper club” next month, the latest on an extensive list of events held under the banner of Dishcrawl Memphis.
The supper club will launch Nov. 20 at a secret location. Like the rest of Dishcrawl’s local events – which include various meet-up type events centered around different kinds of food – the supper club location and the chef involved won’t be revealed to ticket holders until 48 hours before the event.
2. Downtown Slider Crawl Planned for Nov. 6

Another Memphis Dishcrawl event is on the way.
Next up is the Downtown Slider Crawl Nov. 6. Four Downtown chefs will create special slider-related items for participants to enjoy. The restaurants that participants will visit, as with all Dishcrawl events, will remain a secret until 48 hours beforehand.

With so many events and gatherings for Memphis-area foodies being added at a steady clip, it might seem only natural that something for chefs gets added to the mix as well.
With that in mind, the international chef competition Battledish is coming to Downtown Memphis next month. For that event, six chefs in Memphis will compete for titles such as “most delicious” and “most creative” as well as for best modern, best cocktail and “most authentic.”
5. City’s Latest Dishcrawl Comes Downtown

Memphians have proven to be hungry for the dish crawl concept – a way for foodies to explore multiple restaurants in one night.
Founded in 2010 by Tracey Lee of San Jose, Calif., Dishcrawl quickly spread nationwide to cities like New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, Montreal and Toronto. The initiative launched in Memphis earlier this year, with the first Memphis Dishcrawl in February in Cooper-Young selling out right away, necessitating the addition of a second night, which sold out too.
