History. That’s what the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll represents after eight SEC teams made the rankings. According to the AP’s Ralph D. Russo, no conference has ever placed that many teams in the regular-season poll.

2. What Tigers, Vols Need Now is Finishing Touch -

They weren’t supposed to be in the game. Not the Tennessee Volunteers at home against Georgia, not the Memphis Tigers at home against Central Florida.

But then that’s the view from the outside, which is not always clearer than the view from the inside.
