As children out of school for the summer enjoy the newly opened “H2Oh! Splash” water park at Hollywood Street and Central Avenue, museum public relations and marketing director Carrie Roberts says plans are being made for the robotic cow and a barn on the other side of the museum property including an outdoor classroom.

3. Apperson Crump Expands in Triad III -

Memphis’ oldest continuously practicing law firm is expanding its presence in Triad III.

Apperson Crump PLC added 2,037 square feet to its seventh floor space in a vacant adjacent area between Silverleafe Capital Partners LLC.

5. County Commission Approves School Funding -

Shelby County Commissioners approved $13.9 million in funding for computer software and a program to handle the human resources and financial needs of the merged school system to come.

The original request was for $15 million and including contingency funding in the event the project had cost overruns.

7. CMOM to Receive Largest Donation -

The Children’s Museum of Memphis has announced local businessman John Dobbs and his wife, Katherine – longtime supporters of CMOM – have made a 10-year commitment to the museum for capital improvements and new exhibit projects.
